And the problem with this is?
'Bout time somebody put a hit on that damn bunny.
This mass murder brought to you in part by Duracell.
See, from the headline I thought the Energizer Bunny was part of the plot to kill people, not one of the victims.
I've always thought the bunny was unstable, and could lash out at a moment's notice. He was too competitive.
Okay, this is one where the application of the legal doctrine of 'true threats' needs to be applied.
No reasonable speaker, hearer, or neutral party (there, I covered all the interpretations of the doctrine various Courts of Appeals have enunciated) would regard a list prefaced "I want to kill" that includes the Energizer Bunny and various irritiating Hollywood types as representing an actual threat of homocide against the people listed.
Another example of "Zero Tolerance = Zero Common Sense".
What kind of school Nazis go looking through the classroom trash can?
The energizer bunny is one of Barney's gang.
Clearly this was not a real threat...but considering all the TALK about 'character education' in public schools, you'd think that the girls might have known to consider THIS:
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. -- Ephesians 4:29
Which is why I often refrain from saying or posting a snide remark that may come to mind! ;^)
