First on TVNewser: We may not see Kiran Chetry on Fox News Channel anymore.
The news update and weekend anchor was in the middle of contract negotiations with the net, but they are no longer interested in matching any other offer she receives, according to a letter sent to her agent this afternoon.
In the letter, legal VP Dianne Brandi says "Chetry is free to leave Fox News prior to March 6 (the natural expiration of the agreement) with no further compensation."

Too bad. She's probably the hottest chick on Fox News.
I have felt during past few months that Kiran may be ill or overly stressed or having some difficulties in her life. There has been a change (not just the hair color) in her appearance, a strained look at times. She, I believe, is one of these women who are overly critical of themselves, she is also under pressure at her age to keep her looks and weight just right for TV, and to always seem perky. But there is an undertone of unhappiness or pressure or something. I don't want her career to suffer, but I think it might be best for her to make a transition now, and take several months off to rest. Anyone else noticed this?

I was really surprised to find Kiran on CNN this morning.
That may be; I hadn't particularly noticed, other than she seemed to be forcing herself. But I just told my hubby that Kiran is probably gone from FOXNews, and his comment was "past time". He felt that she was politically uncomfortable, and more of a "mall girl" than a reporter or on F&F. She'll be a better fit with another network.
Surprisingly, he's the one urging me to cut Gretchen more slack on F&F. I think she's a little too "vanilla", especially after E.D., but he thinks she'll settle into a more interesting relationship with Steve and Brian eventually.
