This morning, Paul Harvey had the most revolting puff piece to support the actions of John Murtha.
PH went on and on about how great of a was hero Murtha was, then went on to implicitly congratulate his recent efforts to shut down the WOT.
Paul Harvey: retire already!!!
He's like the radio version of Andy Rooney.

"the rest of the story" - or, if you were born after 1903, it's called "Wikipedia". It's over, Paul. Geez.
"And now you know...
...the rest...
...of the story."
I think I'll wait to hear the Rest of the Story...
"...and now you know....the rest.....of the story"

Paul Harvey was good in his day, but his day has been long gone, its time for him to retire....
I loved the week when Fred Thompson filled in, he should do it all the time...
Page.............two!
Someone here on FR said his son Jr. is doing all the writing now....
T'would make sense. I mention all this because I think someone is holding PH's brain hostage.
Signs of dementia perhaps?
That old, ignorant fool
Yep, he's trying to pass the franchise to his son...
...a la "Dear Abby".
Paul Harvey has become an enemy of our country. He seems to find something to carp about on a daily basis.
And that young man who was yelled at by the rabbis when he was ten grew up to be....hahahaha Adolf Hitler....hahahah
and now you know the REST of the story....
I waited for one of his writers to slip this into one of his hackney, long winded stories....
I heard it and almost barfed too.
Paul has been bashing Bush hard lately, always calling the War in Iraq the "warless war".
What the hell does that even mean?
Yesterday he went off about how long it took to seal the borders with Iran and Syria, also noting it would only be for 3 days so there was no point.
He is a senile old coot and needs to be put out to pasture.
I'm glad you heard it too.....
"two or three winesses..."
Dittos.
I like how he characterized Murtha as "quiet", and "rarely seeking the limelight". I hadn't listened to Paul for a long time, though I was always a fan. But now, well, one doesn't have to support the war to see that Murtha is anything but a shrinking violet. It's sad that America's voice for radio news for the last half century has become so disconnected with reality.
