The pages are not soft enough to wipe with.

Sheesh. You must have a big bathroom.

For whatever it's worth, just for fun. In my bathroom right now, the reading material is as follows (from memory; there's a few that I forget). I like to read in the tub.

Seabiscuit (unfinished)
Ghost Map (about the cholera epidemic in 1855 London)
The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis
Book of Far Side cartoons
Biography of Virginia Woolf

That's all I remember.

Now THAT should be a bumper sticker, but you'd take a chance on a jihad against you and your car.

You must have a big bathroom.

Just a long vanity counter and lots of drawers.

The other bathrooms in the house have some magazine racks, but need the counter space for shampoo, toothpaste, blow dryers, cosmetics and other bathroomly stuff.

What's that 'Diary of a Provincial Lady'. Looks from cover like novel, maybe 1920's social humor, maybe British? Do you recommend?

Not a thing. I have an Attack Killer Kitty that follows me like a shadow. She makes sure I don’t bother with reading in there.
I do have several hundred books in my living room, but when reading I give the Killer Kitty a pile of cat nip.
