What Do The New Jersey Corruption Investigations Mean?
Millennium Radio New Jersey ^ | Wednesday, February 21, 2007

It's been a whirlwind two weeks as the U-S Attorney's Office collects documents related to state Senator Wayne Bryant, and his influence over the New Jersey budget.

Subpoenas are flying. Legislators are being questioned. Republicans are crying foul. And Democrats are calling for cooler heads.

Legislative leaders in both political parties and staff offices, the Treasury Department and the Office of Legislative Services have received subpoenas.

The inquiry is apparently about how state money is directed and spent.

It stems from an allegation by a federal monitor overseeing the finances of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

The monitor said Bryant, a Camden County Democrat, got a no-work job at the school while steering money to it.

On Friday the Attorney's Office subpoenaed more documents about the state budget, indicating that either the Bryant inquiry has widened or a separate, broader investigation has begun.

UMDNJ is a dumping ground for political hacks. Funded by our tax dollars.

Just wait till the new embryonic stem cell center is built. More corruption, more abuse of taxpayer funds.

I'm think that is one of the reasons for leasing the turnpike.

In New Jersey, the investigation is an end in itself. It will go nowhere, and, in a few years, when it's over and every investigator and lawyer has grabbed a bunch of money, there will be no revelations, no indictments, no resignations and no hope for any honesty in New Jersey state government.

Think of NJ AG as a Janet Reno. There to protect the crimical class in office. While the MSM spins this as an investigation.

But hey, there's good news. Teachers now have to pay $75 a month for their world class healthcare as a measure to reduce NJ debt. They were given a $270 per month increase however to finance this. Some debt reduction.

Run for your lives, out of NJ.
