I looked like the predicted snow storm was going to amount to naught more than a fizzle all day, but 2" just came down in 30 minutes here in Schaumburg.

We're getting freezing rain and sleet here in Lake County, IN. About 1/2 inch so far. Started about 2 hours ago.

I just checked outside. It is much more like a heavy dump of frozen rain than snow.

Heck, they can't even be bothered to move the dead deer out of the road.It gives locals a chance to saw off the antlers first (I actually saw that once on 202 during rush hour).
