Feb 24, 2007 | Self

I looked like the predicted snow storm was going to amount to naught more than a fizzle all day, but 2" just came down in 30 minutes here in Schaumburg.

At that rate, you'll have four feet by 9 a.m. tomorrow.

Stay safe and stay warm.

I hope my doofus state of Pennsylvania is prepared for this one.

Looks like it's going to start out as snow here shortly in southern Mi but turn to freezing rain then back to snow tomorrow.

We're getting freezing rain and sleet here in Lake County, IN. About 1/2 inch so far. Started about 2 hours ago.

Heck, they can't even be bothered to move the dead deer out of the road.

I just checked outside. It is much more like a heavy dump of frozen rain than snow.

This band seems to have passed for now.

Ed Rendell will personally get his limo stuck on I-78 to show solidarity this time around.

The cold will keep it preserved.

Heck, they can't even be bothered to move the dead deer out of the road.

It gives locals a chance to saw off the antlers first (I actually saw that once on 202 during rush hour).
