NASSAU, Bahamas — Anna Nicole Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead is the father of her baby girl, a judge ruled on Tuesday.
"I hate to be the one to tell you this but I told you so," a jubilant Birkhead said Tuesday after a closed-door hearing. "My baby's going to be coming home pretty soon. I'm the father."

the article says Stern said if Birkhead was the father he would drop his fight for custody (which he apparently has) and says he will try to help Birkhead get full custody (ANS’s mother wants the child) and ensure a smooth transition for the kid from him to Birkhead

I think this is the best result. Thank goodness that slimeball Stern isn’t the father. It’s one thing to think you might be the father, but to me it seemed obvious Stern *knew* he wasn’t the father and therefore just tried to carry out a fraud and scam.

This thing will be remembered as the Luke and Laura Wedding of 2007, figuratively speaking.
I have a feeling that when all is said and done, there will be no money in that estate whatsoever and that Birkhead will simply raise the child in obscurity.
At least that is what I am hoping. Or maybe Natalie Holloway could be found.
