So this mean if the bill passes, I would be allowed off for Ash Wednesday, The Blessing of Throats, and the Feast of the Immaculate Conception?

I don’t know about Oregon companies, but it’s typical in my neighborhood to call all vacation time “personal time”, and you use if as you see fit, whether it’s Disneyland or a trip to Mecca.

Heck no. Only Islamic rights.

WTF is the matter with Democrats? They bitch and whine about a someone wearing a cross, but move to install religious display for muzzies. They are trying really hard to destroy this country. Next comes independant Islamic courts to mede out sharia law in Muslim communities.
What they should be doing is banning the preaching and practice of of the book of hate (the koran and Islam)

Will public schools in Oregon be prohibited from hiring nuns as school teachers, according to this legislation?

I heard a few years back that PA school districts weren’t allowed to hire nuns as substitute teachers due to “separation of church and state”.

Is this going to be challenged in court or what?

And the Wiccans can take off Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas, Samhain, both Solstices and Equinoxes and every full moon, huh? That’s 21 days per year. Certainly if any of those fall on a weekend, they should be able to take off the following Monday, too.

The bill has been introduced, but hasn't been voted on yet.
