Good morning everyone!
good idea on dogie meal Jemian.
I do the three meals along same line.
1) 10# chicken legs/thighs ($6.49) crock pot in water till all falls apart. Give bones & skin to cats (they are gone quickly). Divide rest into 5 containers. When used I mix with left over veggies, pasta, rice, whatever.
2) beef liver. Crock pot 4 packages of 4 slices each with liver covered with water. Cook til mushy. Divide & Do same as above # 1
3) two LARGE packages of chicken gizards/hearts & do the same cover with water & crock pot til soft & Divide and Do same as above #1

I've been reading here at ATRW about a lot of folks on different kinds of diets.....so far as I know, however, I haven't read of anyone getting a "hot body" from using Nutri-System. HAHAYou mean "smokin' hot body" --- I cringe at that ad and DrO hates it...LOL.

Black cat ..would not eat any of that. Tried it and he gets miserable and takes it out on the others who love the homemade. So, once again I have to prepare different things, much like I have to do for the humans in the house.

I do the same thing w/the crock pot and on-sale chicken legs & thighs, Dolly. When I announce “Chickie Chickie” to Bo and Toot, they jump up and down w/excitement and look like little Mexican jumping beans. LOL

Since I am about 40 miles from there, I initially thought I would attend Kay's funeral, but I have decided not to go... I want to remember the live Kay...which she will always be in my heart and memory.
When the crowds leave will be the lonely time for her family, and I intend contacting them then as well as contributing to a memorial in her name.
