Two men were arrested early yesterday morning at the Radisson Hotel in Park Square when they couldnt square the $600 tab for a smut-film bender theyd allegedly been on since checking into their room on Saturday.
Michael Burns, 47, of Lynnfield will be arraigned today in Boston Municipal Court on a charge of defrauding the innkeeper.
His roomie, Christopher McDonald, 39, of South Boston was picked up on an outstanding warrant.
Boston police were called to the Stuart Street hotel at 6:45 a.m. yesterday on a report of a heated war of words. The hotel manager told police the men had checked in on Saturday and repeatedly charged adult films to their room, but then balked at paying for them.
A police report on the incident did not specify how many movies were viewed.
Neither Burns nor McDonald could be reached for comment. A manager at the Radisson last night declined to comment.
In February, a 56-year-old Connecticut man was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, larceny over $250 and resisting arrest after he allegedly refused to pay a $6,205 bill at the Centerfolds strip club in Chinatown police attributed to multiple lap dances.
Now, I've heard the practice of eating at a restaurant and then fleeing without paying the tab was a "chew and screw" but am not sure what THIS would be called.
"No, I do not want this room. Something very bad happened in this room . . ." |
LOL...
I was trying to think of some response to the imagery this headline conjured up...
Later maybe ping.
