She’s figured out that the little people don’t love and respect her the way they’re supposed to so now she’s become Mrs. Bill Clinton.

below the Mason-Dixon Line, “Hillary Clinton” got a favorable rating from 52 percent of all respondents, compared with 45 percent for “Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

In the rest of the country, the opposite was true: 43 percent of all people polled gave “Hillary Clinton” a positive rating and 53 percent rated “Hillary Rodham Clinton” positively.

Clinton has had to face this dilemma in the South before, after her husband, then-Gov. Bill Clinton (D-Arkansas), lost re-election in 1980. At that time, she did not take his last name and was referred to as Hillary Rodham.

When he ran again for the governorship two years later, she changed her name to Hillary Clinton.

“With or without Rodham, 42 percent of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of her and that is a tough place to start a national campaign,”

I always thought she was related to Eddie somehow! Now she's actually bragging about it!

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., has dropped the use of her maiden name “Rodham” in her bid for the Democratic presidential nomination,” Hearst Newspapers will report in Monday papers in advance excerpts acquired by RAW STORY. Excerpts follow.

She has been trying to just be ‘Hillary’.

This morning on FoxNews Sunday, Chris Wallace was asking Mara Liasson about the debate.

Liasson said something about Obama and Hillary.

Wallace interrupted and chastised her, saying that they need to refer to ALL candidate the same — either all by their first name, or all by their last.

Liasson was just perpetuating the Hillary-wants-to-be-known-as-Hillary idea.

It will be interesting to see how FoxNews identifies the candidates in the future.

Actually, her first posters and bumper stickers to run for the Senate simply said, "Hillary!" Personally, I thought the first name plus the exclamation point was a nice touch. But her keepers (excuse me. handlers) apparently thought that was a bit arrogant, so it was dropped PDQ.
