Houston-based KBR was awarded an initial $385 million contract in January 2006 for one year, with four one-year options extended into 2007. KBR held a previous emergency detention contract with ICE from 2000 to 2005.
ICE spokeswoman Jamie Zuieback told Corsi the primary intent of the contract was to build temporary detention facilities that could be used in the event of a mass migration crisis, but she confirmed the facilities could be employed in national emergencies, including natural disasters.

It doesn’t seem like they should need $385 million to detain illegal aliens, but with the courts weighing in on all of these decisions, maybe they felt like they needed to make it look like the Ritz in order to pass muster under the legal system.

With things the way they are, I don’t disregard anything. I (like a lot of people), I don’t know what’s going on anymore. When you poll Americans, and 70-80% of them say they want the border sealed off, and the existing laws enforced, and the government just keeps rolling with it’s plans— what are we supposed to think? What kind of photos does Ted Kennedy have of all these politicians?
Well, I for one am not surprised anymore. But when you put your trust in someone, and they screw you over at every turn, it does breed mistrust. If you haven’t noticed, we’re being pushed towards civil war.

The mass migration crisis they are planning for is Castro’s death, and every last Cuban taking to the seas for Miami. The State Department has been talking about this threat for a while.
Every year in office, clinton signed a document saying that in case of an emergency he would send the courts and congress home and rule by decree, through FEMA, which was headed by an Arkansas State Policeman who used to procure women for him when he was governor.
In case of an emergency, all bets are off. We will have millions of Muslims, most likely, who have to be sorted out. And in case of a war with Mexican nationalists, we will have tens of millions of Mexicans who needed to be sorted out.
These are unpleasant possibilities, however you slice them. That’s why the Second Amendment is so important. The government will find it a lot harder to put the whole population into camps if they are armed and ready to defend their constitutional freedoms.
I don’t expect Bush to do this, but who might be in the White House in the future? Hillary? Some tinpot tyrant we haven’t heard of yet? Rudy?
