THE inconvenient truth for Laurie and Larry David is that their marriage is over. The couple has separated after 14 years and two kids. Laurie - a liberal die-hard who produced "An Inconvenient Truth" and recently toured with Sheryl Crow to promote global warming - was starting to overshadow her husband, the co-creator of "Seinfeld" and star of "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

I regularly pass through several of the richest and most liberal towns in the country (located both in Massachusetts and Connecticut).In these towns it's hard to spot a car that's not either a Porche SUV or a Prius.
