He was also hidden from view for centuries, perhaps millennia, because he’d been buried under ice. The hikers found him because the thawing ice had rolled back enough to reveal him. More evidence that the earth cools and warms in cycles.

I cannot imagine that making arrows in that time period was a very quick job.
