London, June 19 (ANI): Former US Vice-president Al Gore is enraged that his best of efforts to raise awareness about global warming are being overshadowed by the excessive media coverage of people's interest in saving Paris Hilton. ccording to reports, while the politician-turned- environmental campaigner has been trying to get his messages across to people, TV networks are donating the majority of their airtime to American socialite Paris Hilton's stint behind bars, and this is what is troubling him.

"The G8 have been meeting in Germany and the United States is throwing a monkey wrench in the efforts to get a consensus. The planet is in distress and all of the attention is on Paris Hilton. We have to ask ourselves what is going on here?" the Sun quoted Gore as saying.

So, Paris Hilton has Al Gore's knickers in a twist?

And just when I thought the skank had no redeeming value...

I don’t care about Paris Hilton, but I don’t care about Al Gore’s tinfoil hat theories either. False dichotomy.

Never thought I’d say this, but I wish the news networks would show a lot more of Paris Hilton. Particularly during the upcoming concerts.

The irony is Paris is getting all the coverage and she is at her best with as little COVERAGE as possible.

The Goracle on the other hand wants more coverage but is quite difficult to “cover” (as in it take a whole village of Indian spinners and weavers a full year to make enough cool comfortable cotton to go around his frame). That is in LARGE part thanks to his recent ice cream diet (well he does have to eat as much ice cream as fast as he can since it is all melting because ...well the earth is getting warmer you know).

If Al Gore truly has any intellectual courage about frivolous news coverage, why doesn't he attack Sports coverage?

The reason Gore overlooks sports & attacks "Save Paris Hilton" is simple: he cringes in fear of loud "Bronx Cheers" from Yankee & NASCAR fans.

Cele"britney" fans are more docile, and easier to manipulate...

AlGore is beyond pathetic. Complaining that everyone is paying more attention to Hilton than his “world is ending” message.

Al better calm down. He does not want to upset the people who are intrigued by Paris Hilton. They’re the same people who believe his Global Warming bull!

Poor idiot Gore. In his mind he won the 2000 election and this is all he has left.

I’d say Paris’ IQ is head and shoulders above Algore’s.

I'd rate it 6-to-5 and pick 'em. Gork flunked out of Vandy D-school, which is practically impossible for anyone with an IQ of room temp or higher.

I heard once upon a time that Algore was supposed to have been somewhat of a sharp tack. Man, he’s gone bad like out of date milk to think that the crowd gobbling up Paris coverage is the same crowd that would really been tuned in to a faulty scientific debate. Too many proofs of purchase from the Cocoa Puff boxes there, Coo-Coo.
