Concerning this case here, and this may kill all of my credibility on this forum, I'm of the opinion that "something" did crash on that ranch in 1947 that was not manufactured in the USA. Not sure what, but the USAAF's first news release that it had in fact captured a "flying disc" as well as hundred of local accounts of people being threatened by military officials to keep quiet or else, is very compelling evidence that the military was really spooked about something at that time. Just my humble opinion...
I agree with you. Mother said it was the topic of conversation at the time and that people were really spooked from the initial reports and how so many people involved acted after that.
If you're a science fiction fan, the book "Genesis" by W.A. Harbinson is one of the best Sci-Fi books linking science fiction to reality that I've ever read.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mean reality as reality but rather sci-fi that leaves you with a feeling of "Hmmmmmmmmmm.....".
If you believe in UFO's but can't bring yourself to believe in extra-terrestrial beings then this book will set you off in another direction that you might not have ever considered.........
I highly recommend it.
