The person of interest is a 42-year-old sex offender from Thailand. He's currently being held for failing to register for an immigration violation and denies any involvement in Zina's disappearance.
A search warrant reports investigators on Monday found a girl's undergarments at his home, where he lives alone. He responded to that news by saying he was remodeling the home for his sister.

From what I understand, some of those Far East Asian Countries, Cambodia for one, where that English rocker Gary Glitter went to, are havens where the Pedophiles go. Wasn’t that fruitcake who confessed falsely I think, to being there when Joan Bennet Ramsey died living in Thailand or somewhere like that? So, who knows unless you’ve seen a picture of the suspect, what they mean when they say “the suspect is from Thailand.”
Someone made the observation that Fox has all these stories on college girls getting killed; that gets the viewers.
These stories are on children, vermin would do them harm.
I hope we don’t see so many of these kinds of stories that we start to get desensitized.

Every day now we hear of some illegal alien who has murdered, raped, robbed, assaulted, killed by automobile accident, counterfeited, identity thefted, infected w/disease, or otherwise inflicted themselves upon our LEGAL population. Thank you Jorge Bush for doing such a wonderful job of protecting our country’s borders from this scum, not even mentioning, although I now am, the terrorists who are entering our country through our porous borders. And, just my personal opinion, I don’t like Chertoff one bit. An ineffectual toady of Jorge’s who does not inspire confidence.
Thailand has long been a country where men go for sex with little boys and little girls. The pedophiles love Thailand. Allegedly Thailand has tightened up its laws now, and are arresting more of these pedophiles, but its reputation as a haven for homo’s, and child predators is well known, especialy to the pedophiles.

OK, the “person of interest” has a Thai name and this blog (one of the entries at the bottom of the page), http://crimeblog.us/?p=496 is saying he should have registered as a sex offender. We have lax laws; but they can’t be that lax. This is hearsay but perhaps true.

I don’t think he was an “illegal alien.” Either the locals authorities (by not reporting it to the feds) or the feds didn’t do their job, which should have resulted in deportation, and the girl would still be alive.
Chertoff should ask for thousands more ICE agents, but I don’t see anybody in the Bush administration taking this seriously. If the locals keep calling the feds and they don’t help, eventually the locals will stop calling.
