I owned a 66 with the 396/425 motor. It would do donuts real well until it met up with Mr. Tree.

"....Yeah, and to think everyone knows you always do the donuts with a right hand turn, this idiot uses and Explorer and turned left, onto the drive tire...."

Is there really a signifigance to that? This is the first I've ever heard of it.

It would explain why I, a left-hander, can't perform a decent doughnut.

I've seen some stupid things but doing donuts in an SUV?

That why he gets the Darwin award, to stupid to read the warning on the back of the visor, and no common sense.

” It would do donuts real well until it met up with Mr. Tree.”

Then it got a split personality — which led to a double post.

Yeah, polite terms for ugly things. Must remain civilized when we try to tell people they bled like butchered hog...

My old 93 buick roadmaster was great at donuts. I wish I hadn’t sold it... I’d be kickin up dirt everywhere.

And the school who owned the parking lot, the makers of the material the lot was paved with and the cement manufacturer that produced the cement for the curbs, etc. Have I left anyone out?

Is this a “hold my beer and watch this” moment? And would the cans of beer found at the scene have a fish on them, you know the DummBass brand for DummBasses.

Don't donuts usually require a little snow or ice anyway,

Are you trying to get in line for the award?

Most rear wheel cars use the back right tire as the drive tire, unless you have positraction. When you turn right and do it the weight of the car goes to the left, onto the non drive tire, causing the right tire to lose traction and slip free easier.

One of those things you just figure out for yourself with practice...

Much easier with positraction, your drive tire breaks free with less torque when its in the inside of the turn.

It can be done. Look no further than these SUVs ... of course, it helps if you are not under the influence ...

Wow, nice ride! Yeah, that was ovver 20 years ago for me.

I used to also push stray shopping carts with that car. The big, v-shaped chrome bumper was perfect for getting shopping carts up to about 50 mph, and stopping short so they hit the curb and went flying up in the air.
