A bear fatally mauled a man yesterday in a town near the Carpathian Mountains, authorities said.

The 50-year-old man was walking in a pasture when the bear attacked him near his house in Zarnesti, a city about 240 kilometres north of Bucharest, news television Realitatea TV reported.

On Tuesday, the same bear is believed to have attacked two households, injuring one man. The bear ran away after being poked with a pitchfork by the man's wife. A shepherd also complained to authorities that the bear killed eight of his sheep.

We’ve had two bear attacks in NM in the last couple of weeks. Both cases campers were bitten.

Liberals are wrong, again.

Bears eat more than grass and berries.

A grandmother was killed inside of her home in New Mexico. The bear broke into her home...

My neighbors feed the deer, local cats and dogs, etc. Think it is cute. Had a bear on their deck eating cat food. Yup. Real smart.

They'll think it's REAL cute when Mr. Bear figures out that their house is the source of all that yummy food.
