We are going to town today, gotta make a swipe by WallMart as I am just about out of everything, small amount of grits left, not enough for a setting, out of crackers and sardines (my favorite) and no sandwich meat at all, use wraps for my sandwiches, bout out of them too.

Don’t even “summer girls” like nice cool early fall evenings? When we used to go camping, the highest compliment a day would get in my camping journal would be “it cooled down nicely”, LOL! And I like cooler evenings so that I can stare at campfires well into the night.

We have had more rain these past 2 days than we have had all summer. (Belle... how ya doin' out there?...)
Forecast calls for rain most of the week. Even though it's a bit late for the growing season, anything that we get now is great. We do need to bring the rivers and streams back up to respectable levels.

I'm at work this early because we have a , yes, one, summer camp student starting at 8 every morning this week and next! Not a problem, except I have a student who starts at 6:30 pm tonight.

All, my step-mother turned 80 on August 16th. Last night I got a call from Dad saying her younger sister (one of the twins) died at 9 pm. It is sad, especially since this twins husband died less than 6 months ago. She just didn't have the will to go on. The family lives in Houston, Texas. Prayers please....
