Yes - it sure is a great show. By the way, I’m not the author of that article. I just posted it. But I do agree with the author that it is the ultimate reality show.
There is another shocking death yet to come. I will not say who, but you can find out for your self by searching Meerkat Manor on Wikipedia. It list the meerkats and a brief life story.

Dang!
I liked Flower-— I didn’t watch the show often, but when I did, I couldn’t turn it off.
I know. I had already read about it. Thanks.
Yep - it’s a great show.
I totally agree. Meerkat Manor is truly one of the best, if not the best reality shows on TV. I’m not a big fan of reality shows, because I feel society has gotten to the point that we have nothing better to do than to watch someone go about their supposed daily routine of living. To me, it has diminished the creativity of writers. But Meerkat Manor is a clever and very educational media creation. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that all that has happened in episodes were naturally filmed, because the drama that ensues follows along the characteristics of soap operas and I think it’s in the lack of intervention from the makers and researchers of this show that really make the “drama”, because it’s so heart wrenching when you watch a favorite meerkat die.
Yes - it’s quite sad when they die. There were so many deaths this season, too.
