Hugh Hewitt’s cheerleading for Romney is too emotionalized; he’s almost liberal-esque in his party spirit. Actually, his lack of objectivity in these matters has me listening to his show on fewer occasions...and I’m a double DiMaggiatti.

In selecting a president, it is important to have a person who can build a team, not just fill slots in bureaucracies. That team must understand their leader or they will run their departments in an un-orchestrated fashion. Romney isn’t clear on some matters; I haven’t heard one Thompson waffle.

Moreover, like it or not, the Democrats WANT Romney as the opposition's candidate. His Mormonism is a target for those anti-Christian zealots. They will use truth to fight Romney, and some half-truths, and many outright lies in their quest to annoint their own Monarch. The Thompson campaign liabilities in this regard are nil.

I just want to emphasize that both Republican as well as Democratic parties have Christians,as well as other religions. To have faith in God, you don’t have to be a Republican. I hear that all the time that the other parties are not Christian.
