well, I'm a fan of Coast to Coast Am, so I'm not going to be too hard on this fellow, but I will point out that Paul's best friend Luke was a doctor in the Bible. That being said, to cut this poster slack, people really do overmedicate. As for MRSA, it's very real, my dad and grandmother both passed away from it after going to the hospital for unrelated problems. If you want to know the real culprit--
look no further...

I would say up your meds, but I guess that’s moot here.

I’m thinking you may want to acquire an insurance plan that also covers mental health care.
Just a bit of food for thought.

Since my mother died of MRSA, you can take your post and shove it.

“My family, friends and I do not have health insurance not because we can not afford it but because we do not need it.”
And when one of you suffers an unexpected health crisis or is even just injured in an accident (you do know that even the healthiest people in the world can be hurt in accidents, don’t you?), I’m sure you won’t be looking for help from anybody.
Yeah. So . . . who’s watching “The Office” tonight?

MRSA is actually a bigger problem in countries, especially England with socialized medicine.
A year ago I was hospitalized for a week with a staph infection, and let me tell you, it is a scary thing.

This is just my healthy, humble opinion. Your opinion may be humble but it sure isn't healthy. A fellow Freeper, Yorkie, has been diagnosed with MRSA, and needs our prayers.

As one who nearly died of a staff infection from back surgery I can say with confidence that you are sadly mistaken. After discharge the wound became red around the edges 12 days out of hospital. I was asked to report immediately to the Orthopedics office where the wound was “dug out” with a scalpel and NO antiseptic. I got to spend 8 additional days in the hospital getting twice daily an I.V. with an antibiotic so caustic that each time it was administered it would destroy the vein. It felt like battery acid eating away at me for twenty minutes twice a day. It did however save my life and for that I only hate Doctors a little.

Not to put too fine a point on this, but you really don't know what you are talking about. I work in medicine, and this is pretty serious.
That out of the way...

I learned years ago that the medical profession is nothing more than the practice of witchcraft and sorcery and those of you that turn to sorcerers rather than to God for your healing and health are now reaping what you are sowing. It wasn't God that fixed my broken leg. It wasn't God that fixed my staph infection. It wasn't God that healed my wifes broken back. It wasn't God repaired my fathers arm when it broke in more than 100 places. It wasn't God that rebuilt my left shoulder.
It was doctors and modern medicine.

And, I pray none of your family gets MRSA. I have it, and I probably wouldn’t be alive today if it weren’t for an excellent Doctor (and many prayers to the Great Physician.)
