One of the things I would love to do is go to Hawaii at peak season on the North Shore and watch the surfing. That is a sport I am absolutely in awe of...and the North Shore is just glorioius, even at low tide.

The barefoot boy is very put out with me. HE did something stupid that got him is trouble, and somehow it is MY fault because I was the one that asked him to do something that created the opportunity. Now, mind you, there was nothing out of line about what I asked him to do and, in fact, my supervisor had told me to give him things to do (so I gave him things I figured he couldn't screw up.....WRONG). It was the way he handled it that got him in trouble, because he breached confidentiality by shooting off his mouth to the woman's boss. So now he's trying to say that I told him to do something against policy. I just happened to overhear him on the phone and got on him for it at the the time it happened. He just happened to do it with the WRONG client and it may have cost her her job, so she filed a complaint. Now he's telling me that he'd probably better not do things I ask him to do.
This guy has amost as many ways of avoiding work as the dingbat. His only salvation is a more likable personality. I figured out that the reason he hs been able to maintain his job as long as he has is by "playing" dumb so that other people do everything for him to keep him from screwing it up. Only we play things a "little" different in this county. The supervisor actually expects him to DO his job (wht a concept!)...and he doesn't get why she's "got it in" for him.

Hi Doggy — I have a Presentation in Spanish for you but it is taking forever to load up. MediaMax has been hours late for the last few days.
One uploads a file and it is not ready for about six hours.

No need to understand Spanish the pics tells it all.

Morning, Cardy,
Yesterday was a red-letter day for my wife, after living in the U.S. for 41 years she took the oath of citizenship at a ceremony in Salt Lake City.

Congratulations to your wife, now she has dual nationalities. After 41 years you finally persuaded her. :)
My wife and I lived there for 35 years but we never changed. Who knows, if we had stayed there for 41 years.
My daughter has made up for it though and now has three nationalities. American, British and Spanish.

That was long enough to learn the language.
I watched that flip-flop slide show — Yikes!!!
How would you ever know you had a pair that would do that?
We met with the highway folks last evening, turns out Utah has a law — the highway department can not build a road through a structure more than 50 years old, and the little house across the road from mine is 53 years old, so the highway is scheduled to go through my house and a lawyer’s office instead.

Well, I’m getting a new heating/AC unit but the first available date for installation is November 1st. Grrroan. Hopefully, our weather will behave. In the meantime, I bought a couple of heaters to keep the chill out. They are just amazing. Very quiet and surprisingly effective with temperature control options and remote controls. LOL

Check out this great picture of Demetrius Byrd's game winning catch last Saturday against Auburn. I'm still amazed at the call, amazed at the catch andamazed that Demetrius was able to hold the ball. There was 1 second left on the clock.
