“The charge comes after Patriots President Jonathan Kraft became the latest NFL team executive to accuse the Colts of the distracting tactic that is against the rules.”

I remember the Steeler accusing the Colts of the same thing. Were there other teams?

Holy Milli-Vanilli, Batman, “Observers at the game said there seemed to be a “skip” in the sound during the game Sunday?” ROFL. Dungy better go to confession.

I don’t think I will ever understand the concept of cheating to win. I wouldn’t feel like I had won if I had to cheat to do it. Of course, I’m not a Democrat. Seems to be second nature to them.

This is going to be fun. Hilarious if true. Didn’t seem to effect the Pats offense.

The Colts have been doing this for a long time. When the visiting team’s offense is on the field, the place turns into the Permanent Hearing Loss Dome, complete with strange squawking sounds coming from the loudspeakers at key moments. But whenever the Slit-Eyed Hillbilly is on the field, you can hear a pin drop. Didn’t matter yesterday though, because the Pats are a better team, even with the referees making non-existent interference calls against them.

There may be something here.

I only watched the 4th quarter of the game. At one point, when the Patriots had the ball, I noticed that the crowd noise was especially loud. Just after I thought that, there seemed to be a rapid fire glitch in the crowd noise that lasted several seconds (imagine a stuck record, but much faster). The announcers talked normal through that glitch, so I don’t think it was a problem with the broadcast.

I wonder if noise levels, whether naturally produced or not, can cause hearing loss and if any entity could be held liable for it?

Paging John Edwards!!!

It seems those few obnoxious Pats fans on FR (they know who they are) are seemingly not posting on this thread. Mmmmm....I wonder why.

In addition, New England quarterback Tom Brady also commented on how loud it was in the RCA Dome.

Brady should be thankful he doesn't have in the Metrodome every year.

Talk about crowd noise. That place is the worst.

I heard the sound glitch that’s at question. It sounded to me like something that could just be a technical problem and not something being done by the Colts. But that doesn’t mean that the Colts aren’t juicing the PA system.I’d be curious as to how many teams have complained about this regarding games at the RCA Dome.

Hard to hear the crowd noise when you're too busy eating the astroturf.

I'm shocked I tell you!! Shocked!! And here I thought only the Patriots cheated. < /sarcasm>

The outrage over the Patriots video taping was ridiculous and so is this. I can't believe the people who feign outrage over the Patriots videotaping really believe that every other team does not do things on the illegal side to provide their team an advantage. And its not just that the Pats got caught. Teams get caught all the time doing stuff. Finger pointers should get a life.

I was looking forward to watching the game. Then Phil Simms started “announcing” and I hit the mute button. Can’t stand his constant screeching.
