If this is true then this is a huge hit to the Colts.

I don’t think the Clots can hope to beat the Patriots without Freeney. The only way the Pats could lose to the Clots would be if they beat themselves.

Losing him means that Mutt Light can rest a bit easier.

Freeney out, Harrison may be done for the year/career.
Colts are falling apart...wish I could say I’m sad about it.

Yep.I would be curious to know which team has the most “complaints” filed against them.
I’m sure the Dolts are right up there—
cranking up the heat, blasting in extra crowd noise, ect.
Never forget the 2005 AFC Championship game when the refs tried to screw the Steelers and give the game to the Dolts.
Last weeks ( 2 weeks ago) Pats/Colts game was the worst, one sided officiating I have ever seen.

Nature of the game. Let the excuses begin!

I tried to do a google search on “complaints” filed against other teams and can’t seem to find anything yet.
Polian probably had google omit those search findings.....
I am curious what the deal is.
To: misterrob
Hate to see this. Freeney is a class act and a good DE.
To: big'ol_freeper
They might have trouble beating the Steelers with all the injuries they have now.

That explains spending the dough on Simone Rice.

Back in the day he was as good an edge rusher as anyone. He’s now a step down from Freeney.

No disputing it. I suspect he’s a step up from what was available on the roster, obviously...or maybe if your a Colts fan, hopefully.
If your going to have a run of injuries, better it be mid season, then end of season.

Problem is that if Freeney does have a Lisfranc injury then he’s done for the year. You cannot replace him with a pick up like Rice. This will also negate Matthis a bit since you can chip him on the rush with a TE or RB and the QB has more time to throw. They pressured the Pats with the edge rush but without that the Tampa 2/press coverage doesn’t work. Receivers will get open after 4-5 seconds and especially so if you go with multiple receiver formations.

While the Colts lost the last two games, they have done so with more than 10 major starters out with injuries. And yet, they've lost by a handful of points.
If you look at the last two games, the Colts have actually played remarkably well. The Pats are playing at their best, with everyone healthy, and yet won by only 4. The Colts played the Bolts with 17 active offensive players, lost a couple of them during the game, and still played a better game than the Bolts up to the end.
Last year, when the Colts started losing, everyone claimed they were done, finished, over, and had no shot at the Super Bowl.
I'm a Colts fan, and I didn't expect much out of either game, and yet, I was impressed that, even banged up as they are, they kept the games extremely close. These were not 30 point blown outs.
If everyone is healthly by the end of the year, then the Colts will be extremely hard to beat.
