No huddles! Remember when they use to show huddles!

The games are so over-produced these days that it makes me long for the time before instant replays.

The most annoying thing is when ESPN has the girl announcer...Pam Ward. Unless it is a great game, I am forced to turn on another sporting event.

Hear hear. Show the bleeding football field, you morons! I can't watch this instant-cut MTV-generation epilectic-fit-inducing dreck.

...and worse than that, who are the lipschitz(s) making these boneheaded “producing” decisions. You have made an excellent, “What were they thinking?” observation.

It all depends on the spot.

I hate it when they have those “starting lineup” intros that always overrun the first few plays. And it seems they are often showing some cutesy thing and not quite making it back to the snap of the ball in time.

I agree, what a disgrace, 300+ camera shots and only 13 of the cheerleaders!!!! That’s all I would watch college football for...... :^)

CROWD AND STUPID LOOKING FRUITCAKE FANS........44

LOL, strangely enough I've been in crowd shots such as these (for a few seconds anyway, I'm the one with the gray Raiders skull cap)

In one respect, I’m totally with you about ESPN’s over-production of a football game. What infuriates me the most is the alternative camera shots of the coach, the crowd, the band, whatever you may, during the pre-snap moments. Then the sudden camera switch as the play is already about a second underway. That is infuriating.

I will say I would be an advocate of one type of fan shot. I would prefer to see the fans faces immediately following a score, so I don’t have to endure the end zone celebration nonsense. This is especially true for professional games. T.O. or Chad Johnson would be completely disempowered if their endzone antics were never televised.

And those of us that were at work helping to protect the borders wish we could have been at home watching the game.

Actually with all the play, replay, examine it from another angle replay, and the in case you missed it shots of the play, I think you are actually watching the equivalent of 4 games.

And yet with all that, how did I miss Tennessee stopping LSU so they only got a field goal?
