And what obligation of the insurance contract would that be. She never met the criteria.
As claimed solely by the insurance company.
Are you trying to say that everything a patient wants has to be granted? That’s sounds like something from fairyland.
It's not a matter of what the patient asked for, it's what the doctors treating her prescribed. She didn't ask for a face lift, she asked for a chance to live. 60% odds of survival aren't that bad.

The only idea from fairyland is that unaccountable corporate bureaucrats should be given free reign to override an extensive array of real medical talent treating the patient. Especially in life and death situations such as this.

Let's face it, they dragged their feet on appeals and the patient died. Not a pretty picture.

You assume facts not evident which makes you suspect.

Doctors prescribe lots of things. Doctors think money grows on trees too. Doesn’t mean one damn thing.

I'm sure I'm suspect. I'll let you enlighten everyone about what.
Doctors prescribe lots of things. Doctors think money grows on trees too. Doesn’t mean one damn thing.
So the bean counters are a better judge of patient needs than a team of respected doctors?

No one said it did. But in a life and death case it shouldn't take so long to go through the appeals process that the patient dies.
Cut the crap.
lol

You do not have a command of thefacts. She had been through the appeals process and lost.

Why didn’t those “respected” doctors you speak so highly of do it for her for free or at least agree to do it and then wait for payment?

Or did you expect the insurance clerks to cut her open? LOL!

How dumb is that?
