There’s usually more slots open going into the final weekend of the season. Oh well.

I'll say this for him. Most Heisman winners tend not to last 21 months in the NFL, let alone 21 seasons.

I’ve turned into a total wimp, when I lived in CT , I use to work outdoors all winter and somehow managed.
Now I cannot even handle the mild Nortern California winters where it may rain a bit and drop into the 40’s.
I think I’m about ready to move to Hawaii. ;)

I live in Penn State territory. Game on at the same time. I’ll watch the Pats. They are at least fun to watch. No two yards and a cloud of dust like PS.

My son lives in CT. I lived near Boston for some 23 years. I escaped to GA three years ago.

Born in Lexington,Mass- home of THE New England Patriot, raised in CT, left the East Coast when I was 24. I have been in Northern California for almost 20 years.
When I first moved here I thought I was in Paradise! It was a drought year and would be 70 degrees in the middle of January! Now because of global warming, ( snicker), its about 45 degrees and rainy out.

I agree about the Patriots. The Belichick won't let his team take the night off, and the Giants aren't the team to beat them. Also, as my dad noted today, the Pats already had their slump.

The playoffs could be a different story, though. There are other AFC teams better built for January, such as the Jaguars. I also think they make the AFC Championship, and add that they're the one team the Patriots don't want to see there.

I'm not quite so sold on the Bucs, though. I don't see them beating either the Cowboys or the Packers, so they're probably one win and out.

I think you're right on all those coaches, except that the Falcons' coach already quit. I'll bet they hire Marty Schottenheimer and make the playoffs next year. Cam Cameron needs to be sweating a bit, but I think the Dolphins will probably keep him.

The same with John Fox, though I think his job might be in more danger than Cameron's. The only thing saving him is that the Panthers' front office likes him personally. If the Giants had had another late-season collapse, then Fox would be on the first plane to New York Monday.

Cardinal’s coach isn’t going to get fired, they’re doing better than last year and all the QB chaos is injuries. Falcon’s coach already quit, hard to fire him. The Jags are a threat, the Bucs I just don’t see it. The Pack needs to get past the Cowboys, they got whupped bad last time.

Although I'm not a fan of the Pats, I will be pulling for them to win and finish the regular season undefeated. If they do win, I don't know if they'll win it all. I'll be pulling for the Bucs!

Go Bucs!!!!

It’ll be interesting to see how Troy Smith does versus the Steelers tomorrow. We get that game here along with the Cowboys-Redskins.I figure the Redskins should win and the Chargers will win and Tennessee will win which I believe means that Jacksonville will play at Pittsburgh next week and win. Tennessee will go to San Diego and lose.

Yup. He is the last of the Miami QB’s to put together a successful NFL career.

Chiefs-Jets...a rematch of the 1969 AFL semi final. Chiefs won 13-6 I believe.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the Cowboys and Colts approach tomorrow’s games. They both have nothing to play for while their opponents literally are fighting for their playoff lives.

****I think we can safely call tonight’s game the most hyped game with absolutely no post season significance in NFL history.****

My thoughts exactly. Maybe we can get a Joe Nameth sideline interview to liven things up. LOL!

You are correct sir. The last post season of the AFL was the only one that had a divisional round.

"Jacksonville will play at Pittsburgh next week and win"

I have an extra house, wife and dog to bet after the Steelers won the Super Bowl a few years ago.

The new coach for the Cards did a good job for a first season than most first season coaches would with the players with players they have..
