The irony of all this never ceases to stun me: These people protesting Bush and the war are only able to do that because they are the “protected.” They are the ones who reap the benefits of freedom by those who are defending it.
There used to be an old saying during the Vietnam era among the military, I will paraphrase: “The protected never fully understand the meaning of peace and freedom, and what is required to defend it.”

Impeachment is patriotic again? We were told that it was wrong to impeach Bubba Clinton because it could hurt the stock market.
Supporting the insurgency is patriotic? You will see antiAmerican war protesters (who are certainly NOT for peace) who carry banners that they support the (terrorist) insurgency in Iraq.
Sedition is not patriotic. Buddying up to every dictator who ever denounces the Bush Administration is not “patriotic”.
