In this article by Richard A. Viguerie, you will learn:
√ How Fred Thompson disappointed conservatives during his 8 years in the Senate.
√ The only time he played a major role on a major piece of legislationand he was on the liberal side.
√ Why he fails the Goldwater Test, getting an F.
√ Why he fails the Reagan Test, getting an F.
√ How he runs around with the wrong crowdthe Marshmallow Republicans.
√ Why one of Washingtons key media liberals is maneuvering for Fred Thompson.
√ What his wrong votes on these 18 important issues tell us about his commitment to conservatism.

You’ve been doing the same thing to Hunter. Since these are the two men Hillary would hate to face the most, I can only imagine who you’re representing.

Bolt down the hatches. The Fred guys are going to be coming out of the woodwork to hammer this.

I think back in grade school, Fred gave him an atomic wedgie or something. This guy has a fanatical chip on him about a guy polling in 5th place.

I hope you are much better at understanding scripture than you are at understanding conservatism.

What's the Goldwater test?
I guess you have to be pro-abortion (like Goldwater), support gays in the military (like Goldwater), believe that Gerald Ford was superior to Reagan (like Goldwater), support the legailzation of dope (like Goldwater) and beleive that we have been visited by space aliens (like Goldwater).
I hope I get an F on that test every time.

Fred was sponsor and voted for McLame-Feingold, the most destructive piece of legislation in my memory and Jorge Bush signed it.
