Mike Huck : the only Value-oriented Conservative able to win Hillary or Obama ?

After Brownback, Dunkan and Thomson withdrew, to be soon followed by Paul, while Romney stil doesn't convince the People, Guliani thanks God appears lost, and McCain a too old Liberal, => Governor Mike HUCKABEE obviously remains the only real Conservative, Value-oriented Presidential hopeful able to win against Liberal Dems like Hillary or Obama.

He's also the Youngest of all 2008 GOP candidates, and could be able to run also on 2012.

The most important thing is that Huck attracts the Voters mainly motivated by Values : The same who succeeded to brillantly re-elect US President GWBush, in a surprise last-minute move, November 2004, against flip-flop Lib. Kerry.

After also the experience of hard struggles fought by grass-roots, sincere and honest Conservative American People, back on 2005 partial House election, keen observers had already guessed that, 2004 and 2005 developments revealed that the 2008 US Presidential Election will be lost or won on Values.

Be firm and honest on Family, Moral Values, Life, Human Embryo protection against Genetic Manipulations dangerous for all Humankind, while also strongly advocating an active and intelligent Foreign Policy, able to "win the Hearts and Minds of the People" in many countries accross the World, in parallel with a strong and able Military focused on its main tasks, added to Fair Tax cuts, Citizens' Freedom and Security, an innovative Health policy, and support for access to Education, (etc), is a really efficient recipe in order to bring back to the Polls People who used to abstain, and even attract a large part of Popular Vote in front of Dem's nose...

=> Only Mike can do that all, uniting together sincere Conservatives while attracting also simple People from everywhere.

Whatever the qualities of other candidates might be, it's enought to watch a comparative TV emission, in order to understant immediately that Governon Mike Huckabee has an rare charismatic personality, which is the 2008 US Presidential Election's only real revelation.

Nobody else can unite real Conservatives and Value-oriented People (who emerged from the 2004-2005 electoral struggles), with a large number of simple and honest American People from various horizons.

Slanderous lies, Sly Oppression of Freedom of Expression, or Dirty Cheating by a few cowards, only dishonors them and makes Truth look even more bright : F.ex. all that balderdash false claims accusing Mike to be too soft on illegal immigration, were proved to be, in fact, dirty smear and lies.

Such dirty aggressions are probably due to the fact that former Kerry's Bio-Tech lobby pro-Cloning and pro-Genetic Manipulation on Human Embryo attempts to hide its dark motives, dangerous for all Humankind, behind anything else, including lies...

In fact, Mike Huckabee personifies the New, Value-oriented Conservative line, which started to emerge and unexpectedly win, at first, at the November 2004 US Presidential Election. As many guessed, after 2005 hard but useful struggles, the 2008 US Presidential Election is the Natural development of this fresh movement, the only able to motivate a large Majority of simple and honest American People, while also attracting sympathy and Friends Worldwide.

=> If GOP realy wants to win these elections, Mike is the obvious answer.

Otherwise, it will be limited into looking upon Hillary and Obama, with their Kerry flip-flop fans...

How was it expected that Huckabee with almost invisible fund raising was going to compete in a contest requiring 850 million dollars end to end?

He can’t. That’s it. There is no further discussion. Money, frankly, trumps principle. A candidate channeling Jesus Christ’s policies in an election won’t win without money.

Romney is the only candidate that can compete financially, and that is the predominant area of competition in this day and age.

Gosh, you almost had me convinced, until that word ‘old’ appeared in front of the apt ‘liberal’ designation for McCain. Anytime I see ‘too old’, I just gotta think: We’re so bare in our cupboard that we’ve got to dig up empty issues like age.

How about health concerns? That’d seem much more valid. But nope; he’s ‘old’ therefore unfit for the presidency?

So if there’s that snake-oil being sold, there’s probably a whole lot more. No sale, Huckster.

Huckabee signed the NumbersUSA no amnesty pledge and is endorsed by Duncan Hunter. I trust Huckabee on immigration more than Romney, who I am convinced will sell out the people for the benefit of his business buddies (and interests). The Romney’s have been Rockefeller Republicans for at least 60 years.

“keepitreal : Who are the simple (and honest) People ? “

“Pure”, if you prefer :

Those who cherish Family and Moral Values, Education, protection of Human Embryo, Honesty, Citizens’ Freedom together with real Security, a popular America in the World (as it was in the good old days), in parallel with a strong Military focused on its main tasks, real Science which develops the country’s Economy without risks of dangerous abuses by some egoist and irresponsible Technocrats, innovative Health policies preventing, rather than trying to cure too late, Respect for working-class people (notoriously lost by most Dems, both in the US and overseas), etc.

Mike Huckabee can really attract to the GOP various simple, honest People, previously abstaining or misleaded by Dems, while also uniting all real Conservatives, thanks to the New, post-2004 Value-oriented movement. (See above).

I do not believe Huckster.

From June, 2005.

“During the legislation session, Huckabee criticized an immigration bill by Republican senators Jim Holt of Springdale and Denny Altes of Fort Smith as un-Christian, un-American, irresponsible and anti-life.

Senate Bill 206, which died in the Senate, would have required proof of citizenship to register to vote and also force state agencies to report suspected cases of people living in the country illegally. Holt, R-Springdale, replied later to Huckabee’s comments that Christian charity does not include turning a blind eye to lawbreaking.

The Republican governor, who many believe will run for president in 2008, also backed legislation that would have opened the door for illegal immigrants in Arkansas to receive college scholarships.

House Bill 1525 by Rep. Joyce Elliott, D-Little Rock, was approved by the House but eventually failed in the Senate. Huckabee reiterated Wednesday that he believes every child, regardless of their parent’s immigration status, should have an opportunity to receive an education in the U.S.”

Value-oriented conservatives have been around and influencing Presidential elections since LONG BEFORE 2004. You may have it right that Huckabee is the only candidate for whom many value-oriented people such as myself will vote, but there are lots of other conservatives who will never vote for him. So regardless, I think we need to face the cold, hard reality: since the GOP cannot seem to produce a viable candidate who is acceptable to both social and other conservative factions, the Dems are almost certain to win.

As opposed to Romney’s hypocritical attacks:

from real clear politics:

John McCain is certainly out of sync with the Republican base on immigration, and he’s taken his share of heat for it. But it takes an awful lot of chutzpah for Mitt Romney to attack McCain yesterday in New Hampshire as “pro-amnesty,” when Romney is on record just two years ago explicitly describing McCain’s position as not being “amnesty.”

This is an issue that came up in one of the debates, and Romney tried to defend his about face on McCain and immigration reform by launching into purposefully detailed and mind-numbing discussion about the “Z Visa” provision of the bill.

It’s one thing to switch positions on an issue. It’s something else to then turn around and attack people for holding the same position you just held.

Immigration is a potent issue among Republican voters everywhere, so perhaps Romney’s attack will work. On the other hand, the attack is so transparently hypocritical it plays directly into the core vulnerability that is undermining Romney’s entire candidacy: that he’ll say whatever he needs to and change his stance on any position he feels is necessary to win the Republican nomination.

Hey all these guys are not conservative. Huck x’ed himself out with me by his immigration history. A signature on a piece of paper means as much to me as George Bush I’s , “read my lips, no new taxes pledge”.

I am not happy with our choices this time, gut feeling for me is to vote for Paul, he may be a kook, but he is probably more honest.

I am not a wealthy person, I cannot afford to be taxed to pay for all of these illegals in this country. I also value our sovereignty.

I as am disappointed as you are. Truth is, the border is lost, we are going to get a Democrat. None of our candidates can unite this pary. The GOP has botched it.
