Yes. The ultimate bipartisan MSM wet dream.
Vicente Fox. He’s not too busy right now.
What’s up with Sanford-I thought he was very popular and a real conservative?
Huckabee sure has been running hard for this spot, hasn’t he? But if McCain has this wound up after tomorrow, why would he need his identical twin anymore? He adds nothing to the ticket.
Charles Keating? Teddy Kennedy?
John Kerry!!
A Southerner or Midwesterner. (On a side note, the Midwest should be renamed the Mideast).
I love Barbour-—why would he want to be associated with McCain?
Mitt Romney would be a great pick. (surprised nobody mentioned him in the first 50 posts)
Owens would be excellent. Its just that McCain will probably pick Huckerstupid
Hillary if Obama gets the Dem nod... maybe Ted Kennedy, or if he’s looking to appeal to right wingers, Joe Lieberman.
Not gonna happen. I think there’s too much blood between the two.
Owens would be a great pick. He would also help destroy the dems’ western strategy of trying to take Nevada, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico away fro the Repubs.
A president McCain will diligently fight the Iraq campaign while breaking the legs of the economy with GW legislation and enforcement. When the economy goes a certain distance south, the war will no longer be sustainable and he will quit.
Then Bill Owens would be a great pick. But, I think the best pick would be Haley Barbour.
You might be right, although Charlie has a great job now. He might tell McCain “no thanks.”
Because he’d be one 72 year old heartbeat from the presidency.
The invisible demon that's chewing on his brain.
