My pleasure! Wine making is fun. When we made it we experimented with different flavors. Some were winners and some weren’t, yet it was always fun to wait and see what we got.

I made some wine and we forgot about it in the basement for YEARS! One day we heard this ‘POP hiss’ and we went down stairs and there, from under the old cellar steps was a fount of wine pouring merrily on the floor. Only two bottles did this, and we decided to have some wine, figuring this was a fun thing to try, now realizing we had some long forgotten.
The stuff was lightly naturally carbonated, and it was tart, but it slipped down the gullet as smooth as the devil in velvet trousers! Thing is, this stuff was a ‘wee’ bit alcoholic, and by the time we’d drunk two bottles we were getting silly. By the fourth, we were wasted! This stuff was amazing, and sad to say we missed it as soon as we finished the last bottle!
