I thought it was a different type of "goosed."

m-w.com: "goosed
One entry found.
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): goosed; goos·ing
Date: circa 1880
1 : to poke between the buttocks with an upward thrust
2 : to increase the activity, speed, power, intensity, or amount of : spur "

It would have been even more unseemly had his pants split.

This usage is now called "Morforded".

This suit has much merit. It was truly and unsafe work environment. If there are no warning shouts of “There’s a goose on the loose!” how was the poor man expected to defned himself?

OSHA needs to work this into their training programs, STAT.

Ewww! Why did you have to tell me what “to goose” means!?All of these years, I have assumed it meant to have one’s bottom pinched. I assumed the goose allusion was in the similarity of the pinch to a bite by a goose.

I’ve heard it used in a number of ways myself. I was kinda surprised when I saw the m-w definition.

Why did I imagine someone attacked him with a goose?
