A blinding storm has shrouded Massachusetts in a white blanket of snow, slowing traffic to a crawl and causing spinouts across the state. What began this morning as a dusting has roiled into a near blizzard that is expected to dump up to 8 inches of snow. Despite the intensity of the squalls, however, few major accidents or traffic jams have been reported.

paging Al Gore
You realize this is a side effect of global warming don’t you? A liberal told me so in all seriousness.
stat
May be St. Algore could help those people shovel their global warming. According to his movie most of these coastal areas should be under water from melting ice caps.
So would you say this is Boston Globe-ular? ;)
The poor shivering souls of New England are all asking the same question...
“Where is Al Gore when you need him?”
did you slap that liberal into next week then ask them how time travel felt?
I swear, this global warming/climate change BS has overtaken every single climate event worldwide..nothing can happen anywhere that isn’t attributed to it..AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH
It’s a good thing God invented beer to show us he loves us..otherwise, these people would be impossible to put up with..
We're being globbed pretty good in New York.
Global warming sucks cold wind.
I think we’ve found a place to move all those endangered polar bears to.
Takes a whole lot more hot breath from Algore to warm up old man winter.
Yes, they REALLY believe it! COLDER than normal winters are cased by globull WARMING!
This just goes to show you that “liberal logic” is an oxymoron. And the liberals are morons, too.
What I did was start laughing and couldn’t stop. Really!
One could certainly model scenarios where such events could be driven by global warming, so the idea isn't prima facie unreasonable. The problem with it is that none of the global warming models are capable of making any predictions which, should they be wrong, would disprove the underlying hypotheses.
If I hypothesize that a particular coin is balanced so that it will come up 50% heads, and the first five times I flip it comes up tails, that would suggest the hypothesis may be on shaky ground. If in the next 45 flips I get 2 heads and 43 tails, the hypothesis would be pretty well disproven. If in a hundred more flips I get 3 heads and 97 tails, that would pretty well clinch it. When I formulated the hypothesis I wasn't intending that it be disproven, but the evidence against it would turn out to be overwhelming.
The problem with the AGW hypotheses is that there is no combination of evidence which could plausibly occur if AGW is false but could not occur if it is true. In other words, the the AGW hypotheses are written in such a way that they likely could not be disproved even if they were false.
Same here. Same everywhere you go.
Global warming is responsible for warming, freezing, cooling, hail, rain, tornados, hurricanes, waves, crop failures, droughts, floods, earthquakes,.....
Global warming is nearly as big a bad ass as is George Bush.
George is responsible for every other bad thing on earth that has ever happened or ever will happen. (And many will claim that George is responsible for global warming, making his the BA King of the Earth.)
