Saddam and Terrorism: Emerging Insights From Captured Iraqi Documents
Joint Forces Command ^ | 12 March 08 | Institute for Defense Analyses

This report will not be made available online. If you would like to obtain a copy you can request one at the URL below...

When the 9-11 Commission Report came out, the media trumpeted that Saddam and Al Qaeda had no connection. But that was not actually true. If you actually READ the report, it says something very different.

Then when the Iraq Survey Report came out, the media trumpeted that it said Saddam had no WMD. But if you actually READ the report, it says something rather different.

When the National Intelligence Estimate came out saying Iran had shut down it's nuclear weapons program, the media proclaimed that Iran was not working on nuclear weapons. But if you actually READ the entire report, you come to a different conclusion about the danger that Iran poses.

The media cannot be allowed to rewrite this report based on a pre-release leak before it even comes out. I for one plan on reading the entire report before I buy into the idea that Saddam had no connection to Al Qaeda. I have seen to much evidence to the contrary...

Great work! I completely ignored the report on Monday because I knew the article contained spin. So, I never read the article and it never occurred to me to get a copy. Apparently the report is titled “Saddam and Terrorism: Emerging Insights from Captured Iraqi Documents” (the same as the title of your thread).

Thank you kindly. Going to their web page on this link there is not an obvious link to the report. I posted a comment of request re availability in the indicated feedback box, and received a prompt email advising they would send the report by CD if I provided my regular postal mail address. It is apparently a very large file.
