Which group is more ... focused: Bush-haters, or McCain-haters? :)

Posted on 03/22/2008 8:42:44 AM PDT by Cringing Negativism Network

Just saying:

Seems more and more, like there's not a whole lot of behavioral difference between those on one side of the aisle who see everything through the prism of hating Bush,...

And those on one side of the aisle who see everything through the prism of hating John McCain.

Please. Stop attacking the Republican.

I don’t hate McCain. I just can’t vote for him. And please, don’t start spamming me with the McCainiac arguments. I can respond quite effectively to each and every one of them, as I have in past postings.

Okay. I agree. Republicans can be whatever they want.

But.

Don't dare call them conservatives. Ever.

Call them what they are - liberal lite.

McCain is a Republican? Coulda fooled me. There’s not much daylight between McCain and the official Democrat party platform.

I don’t see anything noble in NOT VOTING.

In fact, quite the contrary.

There comes a time when one must face reality. Either Dem as POTUS would be a disaster.

Am I?

Remember that old “Who said it: Gore or the Unabomber?” quiz?

Would you like to play “Whose policy is it: McCain or the Democrat Party?”

OH there is a difference.

He won’t raise taxes and he does not deny the reality of Islamic Jihad and he won’t cut and run in Iraq.

Who said anything about not voting?

See, this is where the debate gets ruined. I take a position about the position of the GOP and you assume I am not going to vote.

Stop attacking the Republican.

I just point out his many liberal characteristics. If you view that as an attack, I guess that's just too darn bad.

First, I don't buy that he won't raise taxes. Second, Iraq is the only thing that the GOP, as a national party, has going for it that it can call conservative. Everything else is either a mirror of the dems or a compromise.

When will the GOP force the dems into compromise? Ever?

We can toss the "does not deny the reality of Islamic Jihad" in the hopeful but false illusions bin as well.

John McCain armed Kosovo Islamic terrorists

Why would they? GOP politicians are just as enamored with power as their Democrat counterparts. That's why they seek to always expand the size and scope of government. And furthermore, solving the problems only take them off the table at election time. Better to never solve anything so that you can use it to rile up the base.

The state of DC politics is an utter joke.

Well, then you should go ahead and vote for the communists, either directly or indirectly.

Then you won’t have to concern youself about daylight.

Funny that you mention the Communists.

In the USSR, “voting” was done with a ballot with one name on it.

In the USA, “voting” is now done with a ballot with two names on it, both of whom will have virtually identical policies.

Begs the question of who really won the Cold War.
