Every day on Free Republic, there is one poster who goes to every single prayer site, and prays for all requests and needs. That poster is pandoraou812. She has prayed for hundreds of prayer needs.
Today, Pandy needs OUR prayers. Her doctor called her an hour ago (on SUNDAY), and told her that the swab he took on her 'spider bite' last Thursday was positive for MRSA. (She feels that she may have been infected when she had a liver biopsy for Hepatitis C March 5.) The 'spider bite' appeared three days later.
Please pray for her and her family (who she fears may have possibly been contaminated, without her knowledge.)
This lady has been there for so many - and we need to let her know we are there for HER. Thank you.
Prayers being said. May the Lord bless you with complete healing, as well as comfort and strength for you and all friends and family. May the Lord bless your doctors with wisdom and guidance as they decide the best treatments.

She was sorting through some stuff in the attic, when she felt a sting on her tummy, over two weeks ago. She pulled up her shirt, and saw a red, swollen mark, and assumed it was a spider bite. It kept getting worse, so she went to the doctor last Thursday.
Prayers for Pandie. A lot of people have MRSA without even knowing it; she will be fine.

BACKGROUND: With the everincreasing emergence of antibiotic-resistant pathogens, in particular methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in leg ulcers, a means of reducing the bacterial bioburden of such ulcers, other than by the use of either topical or systemic antibiotics, is urgently required. METHODS: We report the case of an immunosuppressed patient who developed a hydroxyurea-induced leg ulcer with subclinical MRSA infection which was subsequently treated with topical application of manuka honey, without cessation of hydroxyurea or cyclosporin. RESULTS: MRSA was eradicated from the ulcer and rapid healing was successfully achieved. CONCLUSION: Honey is recognized to have antibacterial properties, and can also promote effective wound healing. A traditional therapy, therefore, appears to have enormous potential in solving new problems.

Oh my, no. Just what she didn’t need. She will continually be in my prayers that it doesn’t gain a foothold in her system in addition that the other treatment will work. She already has a compromised immune system.

Lord God, You are King! You are LORD. You are Jevovah Rapha our HEALER! Lord od, we stand in the authority we have as Your adopted children and we say NO to this infection. It must GO. It has no place in Pandy’s life or that of her family. In Jesus name, we ask You to pour out Your blood on this bite and anything which has effected her family. I stand in unity with ALL the prayers already prayed over this situation and speak in one accord with Quix over the power of the Blood. Jesus, You brought us Victory over the adversary and physical death by Your Blood shed on the cross. This blood cleanses us from all sin, consecrates us before You and certainly heals. Lord God, do the work. Guide Pandy and her doctors to know how to proceed with treatment. We ask You for Your infinite mercy in this situation and we just know You will do the work! We wait in joyful expectant hope for word of how You have worked this situation. We would never tell You how to work, but we place our ENTIRE trust in You and Your unfailing, infinite love for Pandy and her family. Thank you, Father God, Precious Son and Most Holy Spirit for loving us and hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ name, Amen
