The old Catholic Mission Nombre di Dios sits on the bank of Hospital Creek, in St. Augustine. There is a small tidal basin there traditionally known as the "Holy Hole", what else? It is a beautiful, peaceful place to spend an afternoon. When the tide begins to rise the Herons and Egrets show up, and wait for fish. This Great Blue Heron was doing pretty good.
