I NEVER supported McCain. I never wanted McCain. I know I am stuck with with McCain because of the original operation chaos (dems and indies voting in our primary) and Huckleberry Hound.

I have my disagreements with Senator McCain on immigration, climate change, McCain- (insert any Democrats name here), his definition of torture, and plenty of other things. I was unbelievably frustrated on super Tuesday.

McCain needs to pick a solid conservative Veep if he wants my vote.

McCain is a RINO, but you don’t need me to tell you that.

I look at the democratic party and I see two Marxists. These two will take this country down a dark road. Both of them will surrender to the enemy in Iraq. But Obama will take it one step further. He will meet that goddamned Iranian president. He will kiss Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s ring.

I’m not stupid. I know that asshole is supplying weapons that kill our troops. There is evidence of this.

Obama and a Demoratic congress will destroy the fabric of our nation.

The Chinese will be drilling in our waters. We’ll lose more sovereignty to the U.N. We’ll have new entitlement programs and trillions of dollars pissed away. We’ll have higher taxes and runway inflation. We’ll lie prostrate to Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, China, and possibly Sudan. Sarkozy, Merkel, and Berlusconi will wash their hands of us. The Taliban is going to become emboldened. Millions of people will be slaughtered throughout the middle east. Do I need to keep going? Millions of Iraqis, Isrealis, Lebanese, and Afghans will die.

We’re looking at The Holocaust part II if Obama wins.

It’s 1938 again.

Obama was offended by the Knessett speech because it was true. Somebody has got a guilty conscience.

I will most likely hold my nose and vote McCain.

Western Civilization is under attack.

Mohammed and his minions are trying Aristotle, Locke, and Paine. The spirit of America is on trial.

Will you not take the stand for Lady Liberty? Will you not testify in her defense? I will and my testimony will be a ballot with Republican ad Libertarian candidates bubbled in.

I’ll simplify this a little more. Do you want your kids to live in a free society?

We can empower the conservative movement again. We’ll get to fight another day. In 2012 we can rally around a new candidate. We can elect a Republican congress that will keep McCain in check. We only have to take back a handful of seats.

8 years of Obama will destroy this country. We will be Venezuala after 8 years of Obama.

I’m not crazy about McCain, but Obama’s dream is my worst nightmare.

I’ve said enough.

I promise I am not a McCain plant and I have not donated a dime to his campaign.

The difference between Clinton and Obama is the difference between a cynical pol (Clinton) and a political naif (Obama). Clinton says things because she knows she has to say them to win over the far-left Dem base. While naturally more liberal than her hubby who really didn’t believe in anything but himself, she is still far more canny and realistic about what it would take to win the White House and govern effectively. Obama however well and truly believes all the naively dangerous, leftist pap he regularly dispenses.

"nation building"

So then how do feel about our rebuilding Germany, Italy, and Japan after WWII and forcing democracy on them?

"disaster"

Voting means selecting the best candidate which many times means voting for the least worst candidate. McCain, despite all his faults, will certainly protect the country better than the other two.

Please expound on what McCain said in reaction to Hussein’s speech. I didn’t see/hear it.

You have offered nothing to me but purist ideology—something I’ve already addressed.

I’ve described the dilemma, and your insistence on making all three candidates the same shows a stunning lack of discernment.

Thanks for your contribution.

My non-support of McCain does not equate to de facto support of Obama. It's a totally invalid argument.

I think my argument is absolutely valid, and I think history proves me right. The same thing happened to the Democrat party in Florida in 2000...so many angry Dems voted for Ralph Nader (or stayed home) that Bush was able to win the state--barely.

Not making a choice is making a choice.

I do appreciate your words about how you've seen worse in your time. Perhaps you're right, I'm not as old as you. But I do remember, vividly, the disaster of Jimmy Carter. And while we DID survive those times, they are not ones I want to repeat. I think conservatives need to try and keep another Carter from taking over--and Hussein would be WORSE than than Jimmy.

Kind of how sick to the stomach some of McCain's speeches tend to make me. (No doubt the one to LA RAZA next month will be a barn burner!)

Boy, those two. MCCAIN and OBAMA.

WHAT A PAIR OF LOSERS!!

I stand with you. I stand on principle.

And I too will not vote for McCain and of course I would not vote for that dodo bird Obama in a million years, either.

Let the Chips Fall where they may. The RINOs are running this show for 2008. But the Conservatives take the GOP over in 2009. I can live with it.

This election has raised my stress level to off the chart. Every day I go to work where everybody is a member of the Obama cult. I just want to go in and slap all of them. It’s miserable. I cannot stand him. The thought of him being President makes me ill. WHAT THE HECK HAS HAPPENED TO THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY!!!!!

I don’t believe I misconstrued it. You stated that voting McCain is voting socialist.

Once again you misinterpret waht I stated. I never posted McCain is voting socialist to anyone. I stated McCain is a socialist and confirmed it with information in post #40.

I simply asked what your solution is.

You never asked me my solution. I suggest you re-read your posts.

Your post #18 to me: "So you would then vote for Obamination? or stay home? In the real world those will be the choices. Barrak HUSSEIN is not just disgusting but dangerous. We can’t allow him to get into the WH.

Your post #30 to me: "So why don’t you clarify your post if you don’t want it misconstrued?

Trying to twist my words only makes your posts less credible. I suggest you read them just as they appear.

Actually Yes. A slow march has a chance, however fleeting, to be stopped.

A slow death march or a fast one brings you to the same end point with zero chance of reversing the trend. The GOP has tried implementing this very loser of a strategy for years by appeasing the socialist left to expand the GOP voter base. The result has been incremental socialism. It's a slippery slope with no end. The irony is the socialist left never gives up their principles. That's the reason the GOP is in the mess it is in today.

You're line of thinking is tantamount to saying you prefer a bullet between the eyes instead of one through the heart. Either way you're just as dead.

WHAT THE HECK HAS HAPPENED TO THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY!!!!!

Many of them are as stupid as they've ever been. It's just that they're finally getting a candidate that's as stupid as they are and, because of that stupidity, cannot tell the difference.

socialist is better than communist

Both will remove all individual freedoms, place them in a strong centralized form of government and render the Constitution meaningless. The fact you are willing to settle for socialism over conservatism is a sad indication of how much people are willing to cede their freedom with the false hope sacrificing your principles to socialists, who never cede their beliefs, will some how stop socialism. It only empowers socialists. You will never obtain conservatism with such twisted thinking.

I made that same decision after hearing Obama last week. I just hope McCain doesn't choose Huckabee as his VP. That could change things.

One thing Hillary’s demographics have shown us is that if she is not on the ticket, most her supporters will probably vote for McCain. If she is on the ticket Obama needs more secret service. I would not put anything past the Clintons.

Over twenty years, often from afar--and maybe with that crisp perspective; somewhat removed--I have been watching the increasing DUMBING DOWN of America.

I knew it would eventually come to this.

And Yes, IT HAS EVENTUALLY COME TO THIS.

This was incremental alright, but it should be no surprise to those who really watched over the years.

Voting means selecting the best candidate which many times means voting for the least worst candidate.

Speak for yourself. Voting to me means supporting a candidate who isn't willing to sacrifice my principles for the sake of political expediency.

McCain, despite all his faults, will certainly protect the country better than the other two.

Think again. Terrorists have been and are posing as illegal aliens to enter the country and destroy us from within our own borders. McCain's pro amnesty position endangers American as it will make it easier for terrorists to accomplish their goal.
