Goodnes, I didn’t realize Tim was that important to receive all this coverage. And these readers think they’re reporters. What a farce. We have the laziest group of “news” spreaders in all the world, in my humble opinion. All they do is report what one another says, they even use the same pictures, over and over. NOW that’s lazy, they can’t even dig up new pictures. I haven’t watched but a couple bits of Tim’s passing. He was a good father and Christian, but I .... but he reported just like the rest of them on Sunday morning...they just repeat one another. They all follow the party line.

No, he wasn't. He was merely a reader, a watcher of important and busy people. It is just that those in the MSM think that "the masses" really regard the reporters as important as those in business and government.

News flash for the MSM: we don't. Get overyourselves.

The coverage has little to do with Tim Russert. The network bosses reads the polls. They know that a huge majority of the voters believe the meida is biased in favor of their ideology and candidates.

So they have used ths death of Tim Russert to spend three or four days of constant sales pitch on how fair and unbiased and great the media actually is. They used sound bites from both Republicans and Democrats about Russert as away of convinceing the public that the media is truely fair, honest, unbiased and in fact is just asking nasty questions as a means of getting the truth for the viewer.

This was not about Russert. It was about changing the image of the media and they used Russert’d death as the means to try to do it.
