Truckloads of prayers for the beautiful state of Iowa, its wonderful people, and for all others affected by the terrible weather events and flooding.
Goodnes, I didn’t realize Tim was that important to receive all this coverage. And these readers think they’re reporters. What a farce. We have the laziest group of “news” spreaders in all the world, in my humble opinion. All they do is report what one another says, they even use the same pictures, over and over. NOW that’s lazy, they can’t even dig up new pictures. I haven’t watched but a couple bits of Tim’s passing. He was a good father and Christian, but I .... but he reported just like the rest of them on Sunday morning...they just repeat one another. They all follow the party line.

Have you all read about the child who was beaten to death on the highway in Turlock? OMgoodness! And I have yet to hear it on the news. I guess we will, once the Tim Russert death is taken off the front page. Not soon enough for me. Yes, sad, but we need to move on....

Molly, yes, I keep thinking I didn't know him ( Tim ) to be that way...it's sad, he was too young, his child too young to lose his father, but it happens! Let's not make him a saint because of it!

While having our snack at lunchtime, I think I heard Rush say something about the msm treating Tim as a hero. I can think of 3 Heros right here on FReepers. One joined the Regulars on the Army’s Birthday, one is scheduled back to the sand box and one is already “playing” in it. Now THOSE ARE HEROS, NOT a newsreader.

Bret Farve has always stuck me as a nice, caring person. This is a fellow who was given talents and is spreading them around for the good of others, that is a Man.
