Governor Ed Rendell was just asked by John Scott if he would take the VP spot if offered.
He said no he would not make a good choice.
This is that old "Clinton loyaltly" that Strickland is also abiding by.
The Democrat Party is NOT united. Rendell doesn't want to be asked by Obama to be the VP.
Rendell continued on that he doesn't have foreign policy experience. And was about to say more on why he wasn't qualified.
But John Scott cut him off because of a commercial break.

So here’s the question to Freepers.
Is this another one under Obama’s bus...
Or is this Rendell being loyal to the Clintons?
Ed’s not finished Socializing Pennsylvania yet! There’s still some raping and pillaging to do. Very busy.
I think Strickland was thrown under the bus...

He should actually be paying attention to the state budget. I should not have to see him on national newscasts. The budget is what’s critical for Pennsylvanians right now; not his political aspirations (or lack thereof).
LOL
Gee, wonder why, Fast Eddie....?
SNORT.
There may be a monster campaign finance scandal brewing in PA. Can’t see Fast Eddie getting out of it unscathed.
perhaps rendell is more content to be a big fish in a little pond...
On Brit’s Panel last night, the discussion turned to VP picks for Barry and Ed Rendell was mentioned by Fred as a help for PA. Mara Liasson giggled like a schoolgirl saying that Barry was going to win and that he didn’t even need PA. (It’s very curious that her remark was not included in the Special Report transcript.)
What will he do if McCain asks him?
in the land where the typical white people cling to their guns & religion....
No, it's Democrats who quietly realize how pathetically weak and leftist Obama is. Of course they're not going to say it publicly, which explains Rendell talking out of his ass with excuses.
It'll be very interesting who Obama chooses for VP. It'll probably be a woman or some tired old retread.
ROTF!
lol...
The better question is what would we do if Mccain asks him?
I’m already having a tough time voting for Mccain already.
Please John.. don’t add any more liberal to the ticket.
By whom? Himself?
