Everytime I do a sale or go on an interview, I creatively beg by encouragement and technique, the person to buy my product or hire me. Every time I write an article, I'm pleading with people to read "the other side" of the matter. When one does this stuff for free, one also doesn't especially care about the end result. Rush is one heck of a salesman; he does care about the end result. And would like to see more of his thoughts, sold to Americans, and around the world. He does a fantastic job of packaging his product, and marketing as well.
His pitch is superb. And obviously, he wouldn't be paid as he is, if those who "contract" him, weren't also majorly benefitting.
The skillful art of negotiation is an exciting dance of begging, giving, but knowing facts is paramount; but of itself, not necessarily a "selling" proposal. One must have a passion to market any idea or concept or product successfully. Part of this involves "begging" the ears, if not also time, of potential interested "others." ;>

How many of the libs are donating what Rush does to charities and causes every year? Those who don’t support him or his program are the first ones with their hands out grabbing from the charities.
We need Rush, we love Rush, and we will support him whole-heartedly from now on! Conservatives are going to take it all back, soon!!

I’m not a fan of his but if even when you subtract the $50 million he is getting paid he still earns more for EIB than anyother option in that time slot then it is worth it.

By al franken July 8, 2008 12:27 PM | Link to this Yes he is this way he can buy all the Oxycotin and Vicodin he wants. He is a big blow hard who will be washed up when we pass the Fairness Doctrine. The when all his lies and bull%$#^ will be exposed. Bye Bye Rush Limpbaugh Al Franken's comment portrays the very essence of the infantile mentality of liberals. He couldn't compete in the arena of ideas against Rush, and so like a crybaby 5-year-old on the playground who nobody will choose for their dodgeball team, he cries to his big bad daddy government to sic the oxymoronic "Fairness Doctrine" on the radio industry. Sorry, Al, Rush generates enough revenue for Clear Channel Communications that he is very clearly worth every penny they are willing to pay him. Unlike you and Air America, he doesn't have to raid the coffers of childrens' charities to make his staff's payroll.

Rush does not take any salary from his employer. He has said in the past he takes none. His whole compensation package is based on a percentage of the advertising money he brings in and the products he sells on his show.
he reserves so many minutes out of each hour and those advertisers that use him as a spokesman pay additional monies for his services.
So he is not paid like most entertainers or celebrities.
It's like a movie actor who takes no salary but gets a back-end deal of a percentage of the movie.
Rush is successful and devised a compensation package that works for him. His total compensation in his new contraxct could actually be more than the $400 Million that was announced.

Someone paid it, so yes he is. Now the scribes at the fishwrap are definitely overpaid, for now.

Absolutely not! Only the ruling elite deserve such lavish wealth, the subjects only deserve a pittance that allows them to barely survive. That way theyll keep begging for me to take care of them!
