With Obama in Mideast, McCain visits his district in Chicago to address gov't neglect of crime.

Our local radio host said today that in Obama's district in Chicago a child is shot each and every day on average.

He suggessted that McCain ONE-UP Obama in the media for a change and make a high profile visit to this district to offer solutions to Domestic problems like the high crime rates in inner cities and perhaps even propose more charter schools or vouchers to help people escape these Distrcits where politicians like Obama speak down and keep down the people.

Throwing this out for discussion. I think it's time that McCain did something to illustrate he's not comatose - get out there and shake things up. Give the media something to distract them from their 24/7 coverage of Obama's trip.

I am more afraid of McCain borrowing some crazy Obama scheme for his own...like GW Bush did with diplomacy w Iran...after all those months GOPers blasting Obama for wanting to do the same.
