No I don’t think I do because he will do it when I’m awake and just don’t realize there s something wrong yet. Mine will go really low to where the meter says “low” which means it is under 25 but I’m still walking and able to function, not well but still am awake and moving.

Wish you could find the entire segment of “Funny Cats” from AFV or 1 of those silly video shows, which includes that. I think YouTube was made to pull it for copyright, because I can’t find it now and was sure it was on my favorite list.

There was a genuine story of a CT cat who was a nuisance because he kept attacking people - really, not just this cute thing.

But, that’s just the exception that proves the rule.

When dogs do it, it’s “miraculous”, brilliant, evidence of how much they care.

When cats do it, it’s explained away easily by some scientific thing.

What? They phone in cat scratch fever?

Of course one never really hears about a cat doing much anything worthwhile.

Point is I have no illusions about dogs. It’s dogs who rip people (and other things) to shreds. As well as do useful things and just generally can be great.

Cats are actually more neutral. Many are great pets, but yes, they don’t do much for us and also don’t do much against us either.

Chah! Must I be the one to explain this?

It's all quite scientific, you see.

When your kitteh smells the difference on your breath and seeping from your pores that indicates dangerously low blood sugar, it knows something is wrong. The kitteh smells this even in its sleep and wakes up.

Of course this raises no alarm in the cat, because it knows that it is a feline and therefore a god. It can find another pet human with opposable thumbs to open cans of food after you're gone.

So your kitteh rolls over and goes back to sleep.

Whereupon your kitteh is poked into yowling by the merciful paw of Dog Spelled Backwards until you are roused from sleep or whatever it was you were doing.

It's so simple when one who knows takes the time to explain, isn't it? ;o)

Isn't it simply amazing?

An animal with basic instincts values the life of a baby whereas someone as "nuanced and intellectual" as Obama refuses to acknowledge the baby's inherent right to life.

Obama is evil.

Absolute evil.

Reminds me of the dogs which now can tell when someone will have a seizure, and take care of them until it is over. The one I had heard of mainly stayed to protect the unconscious man.

I have never had a pet cat, but always felt they were smarter than dogs, and therefore been more wary of them! I do have some “issues.”
