I admit I am naive in this debate;

How long before the pro-abortion crowd starts seeing cases like these as just really, really late term abortions?

I hate to say it, but you are naive if you don't think that has already been discussed at length within the pro-death community. Please read up on Peter Singer, who is (or maybe was by now) the ethics chair at Princeton. He believes that killing a child under the age of 2 is less ethically wrong than killing a full grown dog.

What they won't realize until it's too late is that what they avoided is motherhood of a live baby. They are still mothers but tragically their baby is dead by their own hand.

Thank you, I will look into it. I seem to remember during the Susan Smith story some rumblings from what I presumed to be the radical feminist (or "womynist") fringe about why the boyfriend was not charged because of his reluctance to get involved with a woman with children.

However, be assured that I am not totally naive nor surprised at all that this has been discussed, even at high levels of academia. As King Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun.

Just a quick scan of his Wikipedia entry sent my moonbat detector into overdrive.

Notice how feminists frame the abortion debate. They call it "reproductive rights", giving the impression it's about women wanting the right to reproduce. This is typical of every liberal 'movement'. Nothing is what it's called. The environmental movement is not about the environment, the peace movement is not about peace, anti war is not about being opposed to war (only when the US starts it), anti poverty is not about ending poverty, global warming is not about the warming of the globe... the list goes on. Liberals always have to hide their true intentions behind deceitful names in order to sell to people.

Now, I would like to know, after hearing that from liberals, would you openly, avidly, and without second thought, support the pro-life cause and any pro-life groups in your area?
