Obama told the crowd that McCain and Palin spent most of the convention talking about their biographies.
Palin's bio is "compelling," Obama said.
The crowd booed. "No, it's an interesting story." More boos. "No, no, it is. I mean that sincerely. Mother, governor, moose shooter."
The crowd broke out in laughter. "That's cool. That's cool. That's cool stuff," Obama said.
I thought that John McCain was running for President??

What Obama saw is that his slow (thinking) crowd simply didn’t get that he was trying to soften his attacks on Palin and play nice and at like a grown-up acts. They continued to boo over his clear attempts to act like a normal adult, so he had to throw them some read meat to get them to lighten up.
Sorry, Mr. Obama, that that’s the slow crowd you’ve spent the last year or so sucking up to. Guess you’ll have to pass some talking points around to them to get them to act differently.
He is not very articulate:

It’s the strangest campaign I can remember. Obama seems to have forgotten who he is running against and is attacking his opponent’s VP. The problem is that the people who LOVE Sarah won’t be changed and the people who hater her wee already voting for Obamer. He is running scared, his polling numbers are falling, and he can’t take government money for his campaign and his fund raising is coming up short.
They both have interesting stories. His is quite sad in some areas; hers seems quite happy in most areas. Her policies are much better than his, though. He must think so, too, since he’s busy talking about her story.
Before we know it, he’ll be asking if he can get him a huntin’ license.
