Washington Post religion writer Michelle Boorstein says a concerted effort to reach into Christian Medialand has intensified recently and will continue beyond the November election. That means Obama ads on Christian radio stations in Ohio, using a faith-based quote from former Congressman Tony Hall: As a Christian, Barack believes God calls us to care for those in need.
Theres also a new push to evangelize the Democratic party to Christian artists, and EMI Christian Music Group Grant Hubbard tells Boorstein I think it would be shocking to a lot of people [that] if you interviewed Christian artists, the split would be pretty even between Republicans and Democrats. Though he says the consumers of the music are more like 80-20. The Dems are hoping to bring those connections more out into the open. Well by all means let us know who are poser Christian Liberals and we will stop buying their drivel for Jesus.
